PHP Laravel

This blog show my abilities to work with the Laravel framework. It's database I blew away multiple times, so I made database seeders for each table. It made testing functionality way easier and faster without having to make dummy data.

There were three main role permissions attached to the blog, which were Administrator, Theme Manager and Moderator. Using MVC made setting up views allowable for each user type a breeze.

Users with the administrator role were able to delete others users. This was done with a soft delete so if there ever was a case where the delete was mistaken it could easily be reactivated

Theme Managers set the usable themes for the website, in this case the themes were just bootstrap cdn url's which when a user selected one it would be placed in a cookie to keep track of it.

Lastly the Moderator had the ability to delete posts, again this was done using a soft delete.
